Meet Forum Naples 2024

It will be held in Naples at the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum on April 3 and 4, 2024, the 9th national edition of “MEET Forum – Sustainable Tourism“, an event sponsored and organized by Destination Italy (“Destination Italia” or the “Company”), a Travel Tech leader in high-end quality and experiential Incoming tourism, listed on Euronext Growth Milan of Borsa Italiana.

The event is held under the patronage of the European Commission, ENIT, Campania Region, City of Naples, Fondazione FS Italiane, University of Naples Federico II and the collaboration of Intesa Sanpaolo as Main Partner.

 

The 2024 edition aims to be a true Laboratory of Change by placing the theme of the Sustainable Tourism according to the goals of Agenda 2030, focusing on a topical issue in the field such as the Roots Tourism, which is about travel experiences in our country focused on exploring the family history of people of Italian descent living abroad.

 

The two days dedicated to the event will take place in the splendid setting of the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum and will see high-profile experts from the institutional, academic, scientific and financial worlds from all over Italy gathered at the technical tables. The new players at the event will be able to share “best practices” and develop innovative projects in the world of Tourism in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance Sustainability, thanks to the interdisciplinary approach that characterizes the event, always proposing new and original content.

Through panel discussions and thematic panels, topics covering sustainability in the food and wine industry, gender equality in tourism, village and park tourism, digital transformation in the tourism industry, ESG and new generations will be addressed. Instead, the economy of the Territory and Tourism will be examined by the study by SRM Centro Studi e Ricerche Mezzogiorno, linked to Intesa Sanpaolo – entitled “Tourism & Territory: trends, impacts and business dynamics.”

 

Guests will be involved in original and exciting ways through experiences on the origin of Italian traditions, curiosities of archaeological interest and the exploration of the earth as seen from space. Content aimed at repurposing ESG principles from a tourism perspective will be presented by outstanding speakers who will make participation in the MEET Forum – Sustainable Tourism event interesting and value-packed.
